Former Real Madrid defender not thinking of returning to the Bernabeu Jacobo Ramon is slowly emerging as the next big star at Como, having produced consistent performances at the heart of the team’s backline. After joining from Real Madrid on a permanent deal, Ramon has become a pivotal figure in Cesc Fabregas’ defensive unit, having almost featured in 50 competitive appearances. This is in line with an earlier report that stated Ramon is not thinking about his future and wants to focus on his development at Como. No shortage of interest As mentioned earlier, Ramon’s performances have alerted some of the biggest teams in Europe, including Real Madrid. But apart from Los Blancos , the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping a close eye on his performances in Serie A. Ramon has no desire to leave Como. Real Madrid, though, have a trump card on their hands, having agreed to a buyback clause that was worth just €8 million this past summer. While Los Blancos did not activate the option in the summer, they can still activate it in the summer of 2027 and 2028, though the fee would rise by at least €1 million each year. The buyback clause gives Real Madrid a massive cushion against European rivals, as observed in the Nico Paz deal. But for now, Ramon has no desire to leave Como.
