League survival primary aim says Saville

Bromley midfielder George Saville says the club won't get carried away with their win over Huddersfield earlier this month, and that their primary aim is survival in League One. The Ravens inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on Huddersfield , a team who were four tiers above them as recently as 2019. It was Bromley's second League One win since promotion last season, and leaves Andy Woodman's team 19th in the table. But Saville, 33, who joined Bromley from Luton Town last month, said he and his team-mates will remain focused on the bigger picture. "We don't want to look too long term. It's about now," the former Millwall man told BBC Radio London . "I know where this football club's been. I know how hard it is to stay where you want to stay. "So, for me, first and foremost, it's about keeping this football team in this division, and if we can build from that, great." Saville added that, although Bromley are one of the smaller clubs in the third tier, it could play to their advantage. "We know we're not the likes of your Huddersfields and your Leicesters and teams like that," he said. "We know what we're good at.
