It has been claimed that the Milan giants are showing interest in recruiting the Croat talent from the Mancunian club next year. Kovacic’s Important Role At Man City Last Season Kovacic served as a useful member of Man City’s squad in the previous campaign when he put in a handful of impressive displays for them in the middle of the park. The 32-year-old made nine appearances for the Mancunian giants last season, securing one assist in the process across multiple competitions. The Croatia international is currently one of the most experienced central midfielders in the Premier League . Therefore, it is no surprise that Inter Milan are hoping to land him next year. His current contract at the Etihad Stadium will run out at the end of this season. Hence, Man City have no choice but to let him leave on the cheap this January or on a free transfer next summer. Kovacic is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to make the odd interception for his team inside his half.
