Unwanted stat emerges after Arsenal Women's latest UWCL struggle 😓 It was a night to forget for Arsenal Women in their Champions League trip to Paris FC on Wednesday evening. The Gunners were on track for a second consecutive victory to kick-start their 2026/27 European campaign.  Alessia Russo and Georgia Stanway struck either side of half time to put the north London side in control heading into the closing stages. However, Renée Slegers' outfit couldn't see out the win and conceded twice in the final 20 minutes, including from a controversial penalty conceded by Leah Williamson for handball. As a result, Arsenal let victory slip following a two-goal lead in the Champions League for the second time in two seasons - a feat they hadn't seen in 24 years previously. Is this just a blip for the WLS giants?
