It has been mentioned that the Mancunian club are eyeing a move to bring the France international to Stamford Bridge, but are facing competition from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich in pursuit of him. Kounde’s Decent Form In La Liga Kounde enjoyed a good run of form at the Catalan club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of solid performances for them on the defensive end of the field. The French talent participated in 47 matches for Barcelona last season, scoring three times and grabbing four assists in various competitions. The 27-year-old is currently one of the most talented full-backs in La Liga . Hence, it is no surprise that the Mancunian outfit are showing interest in recruiting him next year. His current deal at the Nou Camp will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Man City to sign him on a cut-price deal this winter or at the end of this campaign.
