Barcelona learn conditions to sign Manchester City goal Machine from his representatives – report According to a major revelation from TeamTalk , it has come to light that Barcelona have received an indication of what it would take to sign Erling Haaland in the future. The outlet reports that the Norwegian striker’s representatives have passed on an estimated transfer fee and salary expectations to the Barcelona board following the club’s interest in him. Crucially, it is not an indication that Haaland is about to leave Manchester City.  In fact, the 26-year-old is quite happy at the Etihad and has a committed future to the club with a contract running until 2034 . Instead, the information gives Barcelona an idea of the financial conditions that would have to be met if Haaland eventually decides to move on. Barcelona’s interest is now tied to a much bigger sporting and commercial vision, as Laporta sees Haaland potentially leading the attack alongside Lamine Yamal, while the Norwegian could also become the headline signing for the return to a fully operational Spotify Camp Nou. The club president is understood to have a long-term ambition of presenting a major signing to a packed stadium during the latter stages of his second term. That points towards a potential 2027 or 2028 timeframe, when Barcelona expect the stadium to be operating at full capacity. For now, though, there is no indication of an imminent transfer. Barcelona simply have the financial expectations from Haaland’s representatives and can assess whether a future deal is realistic. But, for now, the important development is that Barça have been given an indication of the financial scale involved.  If Haaland’s future eventually changes, Laporta’s long-standing interest means Barcelona are already preparing for what would be one of the biggest transfer operations in the club’s history.
