PSG’s Senny Mayulu out for several weeks
PSG’s Senny Mayulu out for several weeks Senny Mayulu (20) will miss several weeks of action, Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed. The player sustained an injury while on France U21 duty earlier this week. Mayulu was forced off just before half-time of Les Bleuets’ 2-0 win over Estonia earlier this week. Speaking post-match, Gérald Baticle said that the PSG academy product was suffering from pain in his left thigh. His substitution was a precaution, with no risks taken. The midfielder has not featured as prominently for Les Parisiens this season, playing just four games in all competitions; he has even missed out on matchday squads this season. However, the injury is perhaps worse than first feared. In a communiqué released on Thursday, PSG confirmed that Mayulu had sustained an injury to his left thigh. The communiqué added that the versatile midfielder would undergo treatment for the injury over the coming weeks, alluding to a significant period of absence. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
