Wealdstone's Barrett out with serious knee injury
Wealdstone have confirmed that defender Mason Barrett ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during Tuesday's National League game at Forest Green. Barrett, 27, sustained the injury shortly after coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw. Barrett had appeared in 10 of Wealdstone's first 11 league games this season. "We are all gutted for Mason," said manager Gary Waddock. "He's a top guy and was getting back to his best form. He'll get every support from all of us. He's a strong character and a great person."
