Hours later we’ve got word that Ferran Torres has picked up an issue while playing for his country this week. The Spanish football federation have just announced that the attacker has left their camp because of some pain in his left ankle. That pain “initially did not prevent him from training and playing.” But “given the persistence of the symptoms, it has been decided to withdraw the player from the squad to prioritize his recovery.” Torres has plenty of time to recover for next PSG game Ferran Torres celebrates his third goal. It would be a blow to lose the in-form Torres, who has made a red hot start to life in Paris with 7 goals in 6 games already this season. In other news… In the France camp, Zinedine Zidane has been singing the praises of Desire Doue and his versatility. Some other bad international break news was that Senny Mayulu has picked up a left thigh injury while playing for France’s Under-21s. Ousmane Dembele is the focus of the French national team while Kylian Mbappe is out, and he spoke about the differences between playing for them and playing for PSG.
