Sunderland Forward Is On The Radar Of Juventus: Should Le Bris Cash In On Him? In a recent report , Calciomercato claimed that Sunderland forward Brian Brobbey is on the radar of Juventus. It has been mentioned that the Turin giants are eyeing a move to sign the Dutch striker from the Black Cats next year. Brobbey’s Impressive Record In English Football Brobbey has made an impressive start to the Premier League campaign after he produced a string of decent displays for them in the final third. The 24-year-old has banged in three goals in six matches for the Black Cats this season across various competitions. The Dutch talent is currently among the most talented strikers in the Premier League . Hence, it is no wonder that a top club like Juventus have set their sights on him. His current contract at the Wearside club will run out in the summer of 2029. Therefore, Sunderland are under no immediate need to cash in on him next year unless they receive a big offer for his services. He has the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. The Dutch sensation has proven himself to be a consistent performer in the Premier League over the past 18 months. He is currently one of the first names in Regis Le Bris’ teamsheet. Hence, Sunderland simply cannot afford to lose him in the January transfer window. An option for Sunderland would be to let him leave at the end of this campaign if they receive a big offer for his services. That way, the Black Cats would have plenty of time to find a suitable replacement using the money generated from his potential sale next summer. At 24, Brobbey has his peak years ahead of him. Hence, he should have a good resale in the future, especially if he continues to perform at such a high level for Sunderland this season. Either way, the Wearside outfit would be wise to only consider cashing in on him next summer.
