Brazil line-up named for friendly against India

Brazil line-up named for friendly against India Brazil take the field this Saturday (3) at 11 a.m. (Brasília time) for a friendly against India. It will be the first time the senior national teams of Brazil and India face each other. The match will be played at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata and marks the end of the commitments for Carlo Ancelotti’s side during this FIFA window, after a draw (1-1) and a win (4-2) against Australia. For this clash, Ancelotti is planning to rotate the starting lineup. With Raphinha ruled out due to a muscle injury, the coach is expected to keep only Marquinhos, Danilo and Vini Jr. from the team that started the last match. The Italian manager’s idea is to use the opportunity to give new players some game time without the pressure of a definitive test. On the other side, India, coached by Khalid Jamil, come in after a 1-1 draw against Panama and are expected to keep the core of their starting lineup, relying on Ryan Williams, scorer of the goal in the last friendly, as their main attacking threat.
