George Goubert gave Guernsey a first-half lead [BBC] Guernsey FC registered back-to-back wins for the first time since early August as they beat Horsham YM 5-0 in the Southern Combination Premier Division. The Green Lions impressed in the first half as Will Fazakerley headed an 11th-minute corner against the Horsham bar. George Goubert put them ahead seven minutes later with a precise low drive into the bottom corner while Jacques Cauvin struck the bar from a long range shot as Guernsey went into the break 1-0 up. Goubert had a hand in Guernsey's second goal as he was fouled in the box three minutes after the restart allowing Ross Allen to convert from 12 yards. Two minutes later the points were as good as sealed when the returning Sam Murray fired in from a Goubert flick-on. Allen got his second goal midway through the second half before Fazakerley turned in an 85th-minute corner to complete the scoring as Guernsey registered their biggest win of the season so far.
