Gasperini: “The match vs Verona the most exciting of all.” Gian Piero Gasperini answered a barrage of questions from La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Roma coach looked back on some of his time with the Giallorossi, starting with the most emotional match: “I’d say the last match of the season against Verona, because the feeling had reached an important milestone, and the fans were very happy.” For the general from Grugliasco, the most difficult game since he took over as Roma coach was the one in Milan against Inter: “They’re all difficult. The most difficult was Roma’s moment of greatest decline against Inter in Milan last year. But, all in all, the last match we played was on a different level.” Gian Piero Gasperini was surprised by Malen’s high goal tally: “Surprised. Malen’s goal tally was certainly something no one could have imagined. Otherwise, they were all very positive surprises.”
