Sunderland Set ”€40m” Price Tag For This Star Forward: Can Le Bris Afford To Let Him Leave? In a recent report , Gazzetta dello Sport offered an update on the future of Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey. It has been mentioned that the Black Cats are set to demand €40m for the Dutch forward as Juventus continue to show interest in him. Brobbey’s Impressive Numbers In The Premier League This Season Brobbey has enjoyed a good run of form at the Wearside club this season as he has produced a few impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The Dutch forward has featured in six matches for Sunderland this season, scoring three goals in the process across various competitions. The 24-year-old is currently one of the most talented centre-forwards in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Juventus are showing interest in recruiting him in 2027. His current contract at the Stadium of Light will run out in the summer of 2029, so there is no immediate need for Sunderland to cash in on him next year. He has proven himself to be a reliable goal-getter in the final third and can engineer the odd chance for others around him up top. Brobbey is also quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area. The Dutch talent can contribute by scoring a lot of important goals for his team. He has already proven his worth in the Premier League and is currently one of the most important members of Sunderland’s squad. Brobbey could help the Black Cats compete for a European spot in the Premier League this season. Hence, Regis Le Bris simply cannot afford to let him leave in the January transfer window. At 24, Brobbey has his best years ahead of him, so Sunderland’s priority should be to retain his services beyond next summer. However, the Black Cats could struggle to fend off interest from other top clubs like Juventus. Therefore, Le Bris should only consider cashing in on him if he receives a favourable offer for his services at the end of this campaign.
