The Pilgrims put in an impressive performance to win 2-0 at Leyton Orient and move ahead of Bradford City on goal difference at the summit of the table have played a game more. It is the first time Argyle have topped a league table since they won the League One title with a club-record 101 points in 2023. "We've become very focused on what we do, preparing for the next game and then performing in the next game," Cleverley told BBC Radio Devon. "I think March is the time where it becomes a little less about that and real result-based. "But, for now, we focus on what gives us long-term success and performances and there'll be no talk about where we are in the league." Plymouth beat Orient to go top of League One Having missed the chance of going top last week, following a disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Burton Albion, Cleverley says he was impressed with how his side responded. Strikers Bim Pepple and Will Evans scored in a four-minute spell early in the second half to ensure a third successive away win for the Pilgrims and a fifth in six games in all competitions. "The players knew what we didn't do last weekend, we've had a week to work on it and I thought they executed it outstandingly well," added Cleverley. "I'm really proud of the players, they deserve a lot of credit. That's how you respond to a defeat at home. "But we're not getting carried away, it's one good performance out of 46 and we have to work towards putting in another one Tuesday and then importantly one next Saturday at home against Wimbledon."
