Malen completes recovery ahead of Como clash

Malen completes recovery ahead of Como clash Malen doesn’t want to stop. Having recovered from the slight knee problem that kept him from playing against the Netherlands, the striker is ready to return to the heart of Roma’s attack against Como. As Il Tempo reports today, Malen already played for Fabregas’ team last season, although his goal didn’t prevent Roma from losing that match. Malen has made an extraordinary start to this season, scoring six goals in the first five matchdays and averaging a remarkable 1.20 goals per game. Gasperini, however, isn’t satisfied and continues to demand more from Bobby: “What he’s done isn’t enough; some have scored 36 in the past. But if he gets to 30, I’m happy.” He’s obviously referring to Gonzalo Higuain’s goal record, which in the 2015-2016 season didn’t quite match Malen’s numbers at this point. 30 goals would still have a significant impact on Roma. The record for goals in a single Serie A season belongs to Edin Dzeko, who scored 29 goals in the 2016-2017 season.
