St Malachy's was founded in 1932 and has a handful of intermediate and junior titles to their name, but they had not yet reached the dizzying heights of the Tyrone senior football final. This year, Brian McGuckian and Malachy McGlinchey's side claimed the scalps of Ardboe and Clonoe in their earlier rounds, and showed signs of their promise in those victories; however, it all seemed to come together in Dungannon. They were powered by their talismanic goalkeeper Niall Morgan, who chipped in with six points to add to what has been a great club campaign for the Red Hands star, who usually lines up outfield for his club. Defensively, Edendork were resolute, plugging any gap that Feargal Logan's Donaghmore side tried to exploit and, despite looking poor on the kickouts in the first half, held their lines and secured the win by a scoreline of 0-20 to 0-12. Errigal Ciaran, the 2024 Ulster champions and All-Ireland senior finalists, await St Malachy's in the final after their semi-final win over reigning Tyrone SFC champions Loughmacrory. The race for the O'Neill Cup is one of the most competitive championships in gaelic games. Niall Morgan AND Conn Kilpatrick (who has also had an inspiring club campaign) will not be resting on their laurels ahead of their showpiece at Healy Park. Antrim SFC boils down to two Belfast teams Antrim's senior football championship race boils down to two west Belfast sides as St Brigid's and O'Donovan Rossa set up an all-city affair in the final, beating last year's finalists Dunloy and Cargin respectively. Chapions Dunloy were dumped out of the race for the Padraig McNamee Cup at Dunsilly by Naomh Brid, who have reached their first county football final. Neither side could find an edge in the first half and they went in level at five points apiece, with the highlight coming from Antrim hurling star Seaan Elliot, who scored a two-pointer for the Cuchullains. In the second half, however, St Brigid's took hold of the game early on and never let go, outscoring their opponents 12 points to three, with JJ Higgins scoring five points for the west Belfast side. O'Donovan Rossa complete the final line-up after a late Thomas Morgan goal turned the tide in their favour. Cargin looked in control at times and took a five-point lead into the break, but the Shaws Road men held firm and kept within arm's length of Erin's Own. In the last minute of the last-four tie, Morgan finished off a quick counter with a composed finish to send them through to face rivals St Brigid's in the decider. Killeavy and Crossmaglen make it an all-South Armagh county final Two south Armagh sides will meet in this year's Armagh SFC final after Crossmaglen and Killeavy both came out on top against Clann Eireann and Dromintee, respectively. Crossmaglen Rangers, who have started to look like the Cross of old after a couple of sub-par years by their lofty standards, remarkably came back from 13 points down at half-time to defeat the Lurgan outfit by two points. Five two-pointers and an Emmet Maher goal had Clann Eireann ahead by 1-14 to 0-4 by the end of the first 30 minutes, but the black and amber side replied with 12 unanswered scores in the second half, despite a red card for Rian O'Neill, to book their place in the final. Killeavy will join Shane Lennon's Rangers in the final, bridging a 38-year gap between appearances in the Armagh SFC showpiece. Fergal Boylan scored two first-half goals for the St Moninna's club as they defeated Dromintee in a thrilling semi-final. Former Armagh star and current Killeavy boss Steve McDonnell watched on as his side did all of the hard work in the first half, opening up a seven-point lead at half-time. It was a low-scoring second half with only five points registered, and only one for Dromintee, who looked far off the pace from the start. The two south Armagh sides will now compete for the Gerry Fagan Cup at the Athletic Grounds for the first time since 1924. All-Ireland senior football champions crash out of Kerry race Reigning All-Ireland senior club champions Dingle were knocked out of the Kerry Senior Football Championship after a shock six-point loss to Spa in the first round of the competition. Dingle were looking for a follow-up to their first Kerry title since 1948 last year; however, they were dumped out before they really got going in this campaign. Spa, who hail from Killarney, started the game well, leading 0-12 to 1-5 at half-time, despite Cathal Bambury's early goal for the reigning county champions. At the start of the final 15 minutes, Paul Geaney cut the deficit to one point with a two-pointer, but it was the blue and gold flags that were waving in the end.
