Jersey Bulls Women earned their first win since winning the Division One title last season [Aaron Maynard] Jersey Bulls Women secured their first win of the season as they beat Walton & Hersham 3-0. The match was the islanders' first at home in the South East Counties Women's Football League Surrey Premier Division this season. Having had some good early chances, Jersey took a ninth-minute lead when Danielle Bradshaw guided Natasha Keen's corner towards goal before a final touch off the visiting goalkeeper. It was 2-0 six minutes later when Amy Guthrie closed down the keeper and coolly finished. The three points were secured midway through the first half when Natasha Keen converted a penalty after Roisin Flynn was fouled in the box - a challenge that saw Alice Hitchcock sent off for the visitors. Guthrie had a couple of chances either side of half-time as the hosts managed the game well to also ensure a first clean sheet of the new campaign. The victory lifted Jersey Bulls up to seventh in the table.
