Raphinha signs new contract at Barcelona until 2030
Raphinha signs new contract at Barcelona until 2030 Raphinha has signed a new contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2030. The 29-year-old’s current deal runs until 2028, having penned a new contract with the club last year. The renewal is effectively sealed and Barcelona could make the announcement as early as Friday. Raphinha has been a key first-team player since joining from Leeds United for £55 million in 2022. He has made 185 appearances across all competitions, bagging 89 goals and 62 assists in the process. After playing a pivotal role in helping Barcelona win back-to-back La Liga titles, Raphinha was named the club’s new captain by head coach Hansi Flick this season. The Brazilian has made an impressive start to the 2026-27 season. He has registered 12 goals in seven games to top La Liga’s scoring charts. Raphinha also scored two goals in Barcelona’s Champions League opener against Feyenoord last month. The forward was forced off with a thigh injury in Brazil’s win over Australia last week. He has since returned to Barcelona and is expected to recover in time to face Getafe this weekend. However, Flick may decide to take things easy with his captain, given the Blaugrana are set to face Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid later this month.
