Confirmed: Five Barcelona players start for Spain against Croatia

Confirmed: Five Barcelona players start for Spain against Croatia The final round of matches of the ongoing international break will be played tonight and world champions Spain are in action as they take on Croatia in the UEFA Nations League away in Split. With kickoff not far away, manager Luis de la Fuente has announced the starting lineup that will take the field against Luka Modric & co., with as many as five FC Barcelona stars featuring. Indeed, De la Fuente has opted to start with Pau Cubarsi , Rodri , Pedri , Dani Olmo , and Lamine Yamal in the La Roja lineup that will face Croatia. What this means is that Lamine has now started all four of Spain’s Nations League matches in the ongoing international break, piling on his workload, although it will not come as a surprise to see him being rested in the second half. As for Cubarsi, Olmo and Rodri, they are all starting their third match in the break, with this being a special occasion for Olmo in particular as he will play in Croatia for the first time since leaving Dinamo Zagreb. Meanwhile, this happens to be Pedri’s second start in the ongoing break. Fermin Lopez remains on the bench.
