Gregor Kobel can imagine staying at Borussia Dortmund amid Premier League interest Borussia Dortmund are expected to enter contract talks with Gregor Kobel, who can imagine staying at the club beyond 2028. Speaking to Sport BILD , he said : “I’m absolutely delighted at BVB; I really enjoy playing for this club and in front of these fans. Of course, I can certainly see myself playing here for a long time to come.”  Kobel is one of the team’s key players and has said he is happy with head coach Niko Kovac’s leadership. “ Kovac has brought a clear structure and culture here, which forms the basis of our success. In a team, there are many different cultures and languages. You have to find common ground and a shared path. And Niko has certainly ensured that,” he added. Kobel, who was subject to interest from Premier League clubs in the summer, joined BVB in 2021 from Stuttgart for €15m and has solidified his place as an important member of the team.
