The Bianconeri are reportedly willing to invest around €20m-€25m on the signing of the 22-year-old Atalanta wing-back, who is also capable of covering in midfield and on the left of a back three if required. La Dea had explored a move for the Colombian full-back right at the end of the summer transfer window, but a deal did not go through before the September 1 deadline. Bernasconi joined Atalanta from Cremonese as a youth player and earned his first opportunities in the first team in 2025-26 making a total of 23 appearances during his first season in Serie A. He has appeared another five times in 2026-27: Three times in Serie A and twice in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
