Arsenal Are Keeping Tabs On This Gifted Full-Back: One For The Future? In a recent report , journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Arsenal are keeping tabs on New England Revolution full-back Peyton Miller. It is believed that the Gunners would have to compete with Liverpool in the race to sign the United States youngster. Miller’s Impressive Rise In The Major League Soccer Miller has come through the youth ranks of New England Revolution and has done well to establish himself as an important member of their senior team. The 18-year-old has made 64 senior appearances for the MLS club thus far, scoring nine goals and grabbing nine assists across all fronts. The talented teenager is currently among the most gifted full-backs in Major League Soccer. Hence, it is no surprise that the Gunners are monitoring his progress ahead of a potential move for him next year. His current contract at the MLS club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Arsenal to land him on the cheap this January or at the end of this season. Miller is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to earn possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when required and is a decent crosser as well from the left flank. The United States prospect is full of energy and running and can even shoot the ball with venom from long range. Miller is primarily a left-back but can also serve as a left-sided wide player if needed. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical demands and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to snap him up next year. We can expect Miller to enhance the quality of Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s defence in the long run. He is already good enough to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Emirates Stadium. At 18, the future looks quite promising for Miller as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the long run, so Arteta should focus on stepping up his efforts to sign him soon.
