Barcelona defender not considering exit despite lack of playing time and heavy Premier League interest Jules Kounde has no intention of leaving Barcelona despite seeing his role reduced under Hansi Flick this season, with interest from several Premier League clubs failing to change his stance. According to SPORT , the French defender remains convinced that he can win back his place in Flick’s starting XI and is not considering a departure during the January transfer window. Despite that setback, Kounde has no intention of leaving Barcelona, as he believes his current situation can still change and is prepared to fight for his place rather than seek a move elsewhere. The player’s stance is also understood to be known by clubs who have made enquiries about his availability, with some Premier League sides waiting to see whether his situation changes in January. Barcelona still have reasons to keep Kounde Meanwhile, it is said that Flick continues to value Kounde despite his reduced prominence.  His defensive reliability, experience and tactical flexibility make him an important squad option, particularly across a long season. At this stage, there is no formal offer capable of changing the situation, which is another reason why Kounde wants to remain at Barcelona, compete for his position and convince Flick that he should be back among the first names on the teamsheet.
