Real Madrid youngster ‘says yes’ to January AC Milan loan; final decision up to club
Real Madrid youngster ‘says yes’ to January AC Milan loan; final decision up to club In a major development, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Endrick has given AC Milan an initial indication that he would be open to joining the Italian club on loan in January. The winter transfer window is still some way off and plenty could change before Christmas, but the Brazilian has made it clear that the Rossoneri would be among his preferred destinations if he is allowed to leave Madrid. The 20-year-old is facing fierce competition for places at Real Madrid. With Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Yan Diomande, Carlos Espi, Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and soon Rodrygo, who is nearing a return from a long-term injury, ahead of him, opportunities for the former Palmeiras forward are expected to remain limited. Endrick has barely featured so far this season, with his solitary appearance coming in the form of a four-minute cameo against Elche in September. If his situation does not change, a departure during the January transfer window could therefore become increasingly likely. Endrick considering January exit. The situation has changed, however. Mourinho has given very little playing time to the young forward, who has no intention of spending the entire season on the bench. Endrick has made his position clear to his representatives at Roc Nation. The agency also has a strong relationship with Milan owner Gerry Cardinale through other business interests. That connection could help the Rossoneri move ahead of the competition if Real Madrid agree to let the Brazilian leave, with the likes of AS Roma and Aston Villa also interested . His salary should not be a major obstacle for the Rossoneri as he earns around €2.5 million net per season plus bonuses at the Spanish capital club. Should he join, Endrick could give Ruben Amorim several options. The Brazilian, for his part, has been clear that Milan appeal to him and has ‘said yes’ for now. The prospect of playing in Serie A is also attractive after his experiences in Spain and France. It is now up to Real Madrid to make a final decision on the 20-year-old’s future.
