🚨 BREAKING: Everton put up for sale by The Friedkin Group Everton have been put up for sale by owners The Friedkin Group, with the American group prepared to exit the club if the right buyer emerges, according to The Athletic. The group, led by billionaire Dan Friedkin, had already been seeking external investment but is now open to a full sale of the Premier League club. TFG intend to maintain their full financial support of Everton in the meantime, having stabilised the club's finances and overseen its move to the new Hill Dickinson Stadium. The group completed its takeover of Everton in December 2024, ending Farhad Moshiri's turbulent spell as owner. Its decision to explore an exit comes less than two years after acquiring the Merseyside club.
