Real Madrid want to sign Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay

Real Madrid want to sign Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay Real Madrid are interested in signing Napoli star Scott McTominay ( Il Mattino ). Madrid are looking to strengthen their midfield after an underwhelming start to the 2026-27 season. Los Blancos have slipped down to fourth in the La Liga standings after losing two of their seven games, including a painful 2-1 defeat at Atletico Madrid. McTominay’s contract at Napoli expires in 2028, and he would probably jump at the chance to sign for Madrid. He initially rose through Manchester United’s youth ranks, scoring 29 goals in 255 senior appearances across all competitions. The Red Devils sold the midfielder to Napoli for £27.5 million in 2024. McTominay has since taken his game to a different level. He bagged 12 goals and six assists in his debut season, helping the Blues win the Serie A title. The Scotland international scored 10 goals in 33 league appearances last term, as Napoli finished second in the standings. McTominay has been limited to only two Serie A starts this season after undergoing successful surgery for a minor heart issue.
