Moore 'full of confidence' after international goals

The 27-year-old scored three goals in four games for Guyana in their Concacaf Nations League matches over the past two weeks. Moore came on as a substitute in Guyana's 1-0 win in Puerto Rico and 2-0 win over the Cayman islands. He went on to play the full 90 minutes and score in his side's 5-1 win over Dominica before starting and getting two goals in an 8-1 win over the same opponents three days later. "He's a consummate professional and he's come back in great shape, full of confidence and he's trained well," Torquay United manager Jimmy Ball told BBC Radio Devon. In Moore's absence Torquay suffered a tough 3-0 loss away at Billericay Town before a 1-0 win at National League South rivals Tonbridge Angels in the FA Cup. Callum Morton and Cody Cooke have been amongst the players to get game time in Moore's absence with the Gulls in 13th place in National League South ahead of Saturday's visit of Slough Town. "I think that's quite nice that he goes away and plays a different way, it's almost like a freshen up," added Ball. "I've watched the games, I've watched some bits and I'm just pleased when they were scoring goals over there he scored three, so it's great to come back with goals under his belt. "Once Deon's scoring he's scoring, I've got a headache, I've got a real headache because I thought the two boys on Saturday were exceptional - Cody was great, Callum great, so yeah I've got a head-scratcher."
