Getafe manager identifies Barcelona’s biggest strength ahead of La Liga clash: ‘Best in league and in Europe’

Getafe manager identifies Barcelona’s biggest strength ahead of La Liga clash: ‘Best in league and in Europe’ Barcelona’s ability to win the ball back has caught the attention of Getafe manager Jose Bordalas, who believes Hansi Flick’s side are particularly dangerous even when they do not have possession.  His comments come before Saturday’s meeting at Spotify Camp Nou , where Getafe intend to compete without being intimidated by the difference in resources between the clubs. Bordalas recognises the quality Barcelona possess and highlighted their intensity after losing possession. Jose Bordalas identifies Barcelona’s biggest strength Barcelona’s pressing has become a central part of Flick’s approach, and Bordalas believes it deserves as much attention as their work in possession. “They’re one of the best teams in the league and even in Europe. Football has changed a great deal and teams have adapted. “Barça have players who give their all time and again and get back into the game after losing possession like no one else. “I really like them with the ball, but I like them even more without it. I think that, at the moment, they’re also the best team in La Liga when playing without the ball,” he said. Jose Bordalas has nothing but praise for Barcelona. To make a difference, we’d have to drop them all, and that’s not possible,” he added. Raphinha and Lamine Yamal earn praise from Getafe manager Bordalas also addressed the possibility of Raphinha missing the match . Although he acknowledged the Brazilian’s excellent form and influence, he does not believe Barcelona lack the alternatives to cope with his absence. He says Raphinha is currently in “incredible form, linking up well and making a fantastic impact” , but Getafe will still have to contend with the attacking options available to Flick. Lamine Yamal was another player singled out for praise. Bordalas acknowledged the teenager’s exceptional potential while stopping short of declaring him the best footballer in the world.
