Now, it appears that the the German champions have also identified another Barça player as a potential target. Kounde fits the profile Bayern are looking for thanks to his experience and ability to play both at right-back and in central defence. According to Falk, Bayern believe the Frenchman could rediscover his best form in Germany after losing prominence under Hansi Flick at the start of the season. After all, Eric Garcia has moved ahead of the 27-year-old ace in the competition for the right-back position, attracting interest from other major European clubs. Boey’s departure could be key to a deal Any move for Kounde would depend on Bayern Munich first making room in their squad.
