Juric admits: “I wasn’t ready for Roma. I didn’t have the right background.” After Roma, Southampton, and Atalanta, Ivan Juric failed to prove himself worthy of certain clubs and was forced to step back, accepting the advances of newly promoted Monza. In a press conference ahead of the match against Lazio, the Croatian coach returned to his experience in Rome. The coach admitted he didn’t have the right CV for the Giallorossi: “I wasn’t ready for the Roma experience; I didn’t have that kind of background.” Speaking about his current team, he said: “I’m very happy here, with the club and the players; we’re working well.
