Trefelin seal first ever Cymru Premier win
Roan Piper celebrates with team-mates after scoring Trefelin's third goal [FAW] Cardiff Met 1-3 Trefelin BGC Trefelin secured their first ever Cymru Premier win with an impressive victory away at Cardiff Met. Tyler Brook put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot after seven minutes after Jack Hooper needlessly handled the ball in the area. Jasper Jones double Trefelin's advantage just after the half hour mark. Hooper made amends for his earlier howler by pulling a goal back for Met after a goalmouth scramble. But Roan Piper secured a notable win for Andy Hill's side at the 13th attempt with a goal 12 minutes from time. Briton Ferry Llansawel 1-2 Connah's Quay Nomads Connah's Quay Nomads came from behind with a win at Briton Ferry which maintains their place in second spot. Tom Walters' goal - after a defensive mix-up - gave Ferry a 1-0 half-time lead. But second half goals from Jordan Hodkin and Max Woodcock ensured the win for John Disney's side, who are six points behind leaders TNS. Cambrian United 0-1 Ammanford Joe Case scored the only goal of the game after three minutes as Ammanford won 1-0 at Cambrian to secure a first away win of the season. Ammanford, who move up to 13th in the table, had to see out the final 18 minutes of the game with 10 men after Matt Delaney was sent-off. Haverfordwest County 1-2 Caernarfon Town Caernarfon moved up to fourth in the table with a win that condemned Haverfordwest to a fourth successive loss. Zack Clarke's 12th goal of the season gave the visitors the lead - scoring from the penalty spot after Jacob Owen had handled in the area. Ben Ahmun levelled for County but Sion Bradley's stunning strike six minutes from time secured the win for Caernarfon. Holywell Town 1-6 The New Saints New Saints' extended their unbeaten run to 13 games with a second half goal blitz securing victory at winless Holywell Town. Brad Young was brought down on the edge of the area by Jack Sconce, and referee Tom Owen initially awarded a free-kick. However, after consulting VAR, he pointed to the penalty spot and Young converted to give his side the lead. Holywell captain Danny Sullivan punced from close range to draw his side level seven minutes before the break. Rhys Hughes restored Saints' lead early in a second half in which the champions ran away with the game. Josh Lock, Jack Bodenham, Ben Clark and a Jordan Williams penalty sealed the win for Craig Harrison's side. Llandudno 1-4 Airbus UK George Peers scored a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to 12 goals as Airbus secured an impressive win at fellow promoted side Llandudno. Ben Maher gave the hosts a ninth minute lead but Peers levelled from the penalty spot before Jordan Evans' sublime free-kick put Airbus ahead.
