Mourinho announces Militao’s unavailability vs Roma

Mourinho announces Militao’s unavailability vs Roma José Mourinho is losing a key defensive player ahead of the return to the Olimpico. Éder Militão will be unavailable for Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Roma, scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th at 9:00 PM. The Special One himself confirmed this during the press conference on the eve of the La Liga match against Villarreal. The Brazilian defender has not yet recovered from his injury and will be sidelined for at least another two weeks. Mourinho also clarified the condition of Federico Valverde, whose participation remains uncertain: “Valverde is doubtful, but Militão is not doubtful because he won’t be available. He won’t be available tomorrow, neither in Rome nor against Sevilla. He needs another couple of weeks.” It’s not just Militão and Valverde. The Portuguese coach also has to contend with the injuries of Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo, both of whom were left out of the squad for the match against Villarreal. Both are following different recovery paths, with the French full-back having just returned to training with his teammates.
