Report: Cardinale makes 50m cash injection for Milan transfers According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has injected €50m into the club to meet cash requirements and support future investments, including transfer market activity. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan owner Cardinale has made a €50m capital contribution in recent weeks and is prepared to inject further equity in the coming months. According to Gazzetta, however, Cardinale’s contribution was not driven by the need to restore shareholders’ equity, but by the need to ‘meet cash requirements and support future investments,’ including new signings. Cardinale is expected to return to Italy this weekend to attend Sunday’s Serie A clash against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.
