Bournemouth midfielder Christie signs new deal
[Reuters] Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie has signed a new contract to extend his stay until the summer of 2029. The 31-year-old enjoyed a fine season under Andoni Iraola and is with the Scotland side who play Haiti at the World Cup on Sunday (02:00 BST). Christie said: "It feels brilliant and I'm absolutely delighted. Especially after the way the season finished, it's been such an incredible year for the club having qualified for Europe. I'm looking forward to next season already. "When I joined the club, I obviously had aspirations to play in the Premier League and I strongly believed we could get promoted but the journey we've been on since then has been incredible."
