Confirmed: Barcelona starting lineup against Getafe | La Liga MD 8 FC Barcelona are back in action tonight after three weeks as they take on Getafe in La Liga at the Spotify Camp Nou. Having won each of their seven league games so far, the Blaugrana will be intent on extending that winning streak and put further pressure on rivals Real Madrid. Ahead of kickoff at Camp Nou, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will be taking the field, with some interesting selections being made. The biggest headline is that summer signing Gabriel Jesus makes his first start of the season, replacing injured captain Raphinha as the centre-forward. The Brazilian attacker will be supported by Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon from out wide against Jose Bordalas’ side. Meanwhile, Flick has opted to rest key midfielder Pedri, replacing him with Gavi as Rodri’s partner in the centre of the park. Dani Olmo gets the nod over Fermin Lopez in the No. 10 position for the Catalans tonight. Moving into the defensive line, Pau Cubarsi has been benched by the manager. Instead both Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde start, with one of them occupying the right-back slot and the other partnering Gerard Martin at centre-back. Xavi Espart, fresh from signing a new contract with the club, continues at left-back ahead of Alejandro Balde and Joao Cancelo. Lastly key player and first-choice goalkeeper Joan Garcia is back in the team after missing the last game against Sevilla through an injury.
