Kylian Mbappe's 'priority' revealed ahead of €250m Liverpool transfer

Kylian Mbappe's 'priority' revealed ahead of €250m Liverpool transfer Kylian Mbappe has long been considered one of the best footballers on planet Earth, and he has a history with Liverpool. Ever since the Frenchman burst onto the scene with AS Monaco, the Reds have been linked with a move and, for some time at least, it really felt as though Mbappe would call Anfield home one day. When the World Cup winner swapped Paris for Madrid in 2024 it felt as though that dream may have come to an end, but there may still be hope yet. Cracks are forming behind the scenes at the Bernabeu and Europe’s premier footballer could finally be on his way to Merseyside. Liverpool and Mbappe deal could be on Multiple reports have surfaced suggesting that the Frenchman is unhappy at Madrid, and that unrest among the squad is growing. Mbappe has played every minute of Los Blancos’ campaign so far, but the forward has concerns off the pitch. According to a report by Defensa Central , the 27-year-old ‘doesn't feel loved or supported in the Real Madrid dressing room’ which has led to him feeling ‘uncomfortable’. Speaking to Defensa Central, insider François Gallardo revealed that Liverpool are going to play a part in Mbappe’s future. “There are several Premier League teams interested in Kylian Mbappé, but the player's priority is Liverpool. In recent weeks they have already contacted Fayza Lamari [Mbappe’s mother],” Gallardo told. Mbappe, who has scored 94 and assisted 14 in 111 Real Madrid appearances, is reportedly on a wage of over €1 million a week after bonuses – roughly triple what Liverpool’s current highest earners make. The finances of any deal to bring the Madrid man to Merseyside would be astronomical, with the report quoting a €250 million (~£211m) fee, but the Reds have proven their willingness to spend in recent windows and a move for Mbappe cannot be ruled out. Liverpool’s interest goes back almost a decade and the star recently confirmed that he had come close to joining the Reds before he left Monaco and now, if Liverpool are a priority for the player, then a deal might not be too far away.
