Milan interested in Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, competition with Chelsea & Arsenal

Milan interested in Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, competition with Chelsea & Arsenal Serie A side Milan managed to keep hold of veteran Luka Modric after he impressed in his first season at the club. But they are now starting to draw up plans to replace the Croatian in the long-term. There is growing belief the midfielder will leave the Rossoneri in the summer and possibly even seek retirement. His current deal runs out in 2027, which is making Milan consider replacements. Niccolo Ceccarini from Tuttomercatoweb reports that Bournemouth’s Alex Scott has emerged as a possible target. He is seen as someone who can step into Modric’s huge shoes, as the Rossoneri want to compete with Arsenal and Chelsea for a possible deal. Brighton’s Yasin Ayari is also liked at the San Siro, as the Swede has impressed quite a bit since rising to prominence with the Seagulls. His contract runs out in 2027 and Ayari can become a transfer opportunity. But for now, Bournemouth’s Scott is higher up in the shortlist, as he is seen as a more luxurious option. Deal likely complex Bournemouth kept hold of Scott in the summer despite interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and even Tottenham. Their valuation could go higher,  as they are playing in Europe for the first time in their history. This will make Milan an outsider in the race, making Ayari a more financially viable target.
