👀 Seedorf's Corinthians deal includes a relegation termination clause

👀 Seedorf's Corinthians deal includes a relegation termination clause Seedorf's contract with Corinthians provides for TERMINATION in the event of relegation to Série B. Announced this Sunday (11), the 50-year-old Dutchman joins—initially—on a contract running until the end of 2027. But that arrangement will end automatically if Timão go down. The club currently sit 16th in the Brasileirão, with 32 points. Corinthians, however, risk dropping into the relegation zone this matchday. If they lose, Corinthians will ONLY stay out of the zone if the Gre-Nal ends in a draw. If they draw, Timão will need Grêmio to win to stay out of the relegation zone. If they win, Corinthians will finish the matchday outside the relegation zone regardless of the other results. Both the São Paulo derby and the Gre-Nal are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (Brasília time) this Sunday (11). This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence.
