Tottenham Hotspur Are Keeping Tabs On This Serie A Full-Back: Should De Zerbi Get Him On Board?

Tottenham Hotspur Are Keeping Tabs On This Serie A Full-Back: Should De Zerbi Get Him On Board? In a recent report , journalist Graeme Bailey mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Roma full-back Emanuele Lulli. It is understood that Spurs are facing competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United in the race to land the Italian talent next year. Lulli’s Impressive Rise At Roma Lulli has come through the youth ranks of Roma and has done well to break into their first team this season. The 19-year-old has featured in four senior matches for the Italian side in this campaign so far in Serie A. The talented teenager is currently among the most gifted young full-backs in his homeland. Therefore, it is no wonder that Spurs are in the running to acquire his services in 2027. His current contract at Roma will run out at the end of this campaign, which could open the door for Tottenham to sign him on the cheap this January or on a free transfer next summer. Lulli loves a tackle and can sense the danger well to earn possession back for his team on the defensive end of the pitch. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. The Italian whizkid is primarily a right-back but can also serve as a right-sided wide player if told to do so. However, Lulli has to find a way to add a few goals and assists to his game. Plus, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical demands and high intensity of the Premier League if Spurs manage to snap him up next year. Lulli would improve the quality of Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s defence in the long run. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years. At 19, Lulli has the potential to be a world-class player in his position someday. He will also help Spurs compete across all fronts over the next few seasons. Thus, Tottenham would be wise to get him on board this January or next summer.
