Tresoldi was born in Italy, but he moved to Hannover, Germany, with his family as a kid. He represented the German national team at various youth levels and is now the star of the Germany U21 team, with which he’ll play next summer’s U21 Euros. (Photo by Marco Luzzani/Getty Images) Tresoldi has already held talks with both football federations and Italy and Germany’s new national team coaches, Roberto Mancini and Jurgen Klopp. Tresoldi, 22, has scored six goals in ten appearances for Club Brugge this season. “We talked to him; he said that at this moment he cannot decide because he gave his word to the Under-21 coach that he’d play for Germany at the European Championship in June,” Italy coach Mancini said at the end of September. “He said that he feels 50 per cent Italian and 50 per cent German.
