Ten-man Jersey Bulls held to 3-3 Windsor and Eton draw

Jay Giles was sent off after half-an-hour for Jersey Bulls [Lynden Humphrey] Ten-man Jersey Bulls conceded a late equaliser in a thrilling 3-3 at Windsor and Eton in Isthmian League South Central. The point extended Jersey Bulls' unbeaten run in the league to 28 games - a sequence that goes back to 30 December 2025. They remain second in the table and are seven points off leaders Bognor Regis Town, but have just one game in hand, while third-placed Raynes Park Vale are now just a point behind. After some good early pressure the hosts took a 13th-minute lead when Morgan Elliott headed in from a floated free kick. But the islanders needed just two minutes to draw level as top scorer Lorne Bickley blasted home after a ball in from James Sunley. A decisive spell came shortly before the 30-minute mark - Jarma Mohamed had a Jersey goal ruled out for offside - and a minute later they were reduced to 10 men when Jay Giles was given a straight red card for a dangerous tackle. The visitors were indebted to goalkeeper Euan van der Vliet, who made two excellent saves as the first half drew to a close while Windsor's Jordi Ebanda missed a good chance. In-form Casey Nixon forced an excellent save from Windsor's Finley Purcell soon after the break before Sunley gave the islanders a 50th-minute lead. His second goal in three games came in style as he picked up the ball in his own half, beat a number of defenders before finishing past Purcell. But a minute later the scores were level when Bruno Dos Santos got his first goal of the season for the hosts. Despite their numerical disadvantage Bulls continued to press for a goal as Luke Watson and Sammy Henia-Kamau went close. But Sunley was on target with five minutes to go as he was first to a loose ball and calmly finished. However, it was not enough for the islanders as Kieran Jordan ensured the points were shared when he found the net three minutes later.
