Liverpool's Golden Boy travels, set for enormous show of faith

Liverpool's Golden Boy travels, set for enormous show of faith Liverpool's golden boy has travelled to face LASK in the UEFA Youth League. He's set for an enormous show of faith. Liverpool have a series of young players coming through at the moment who are generating serious attention. Of course, Rio Ngumoha is the pick of the bunch as he's starting Premier League games and proving himself. But Trey Nyoni is another making waves. He was trusted to come on against Manchester City as a defensive, controlling midfielder - a massive show of faith in a young player. Then you've got the likes of Will Wright, who looks absolutely destined to break into Liverpool's first-team before long. He's scoring for fun this season and few have looked this good at that age. But there's another kid in the academy generating serious hype right now. And Liverpool are putting faith in him. Luca Eden gets his chance Luca Eden is still only 15 years old but it’s pretty clear that he’s special. Special enough that he recently became the youngest Red to appear in the UEFA Youth League when the under 19s faced Atlético Madrid. This is a player we’ve had an eye on for nearly a year now . Eden has consistently shown that he’s one to watch and his development has been wonderfully steady - enough that Liverpool seem to believe that the youngster can continue to play in the Youth League. Lewis Bower points out that Eden has travelled to face LASK and was kept in reserve for the Under 18s at the weekend. It all points to another show of immense faith in the player. And Liverpool are right to return that trust. Eden reportedly has eyes for the Reds and no one else , having grown up on the Wirral. This is a player cut from the same cloth as Steven Gerrard - the latest local talent who wishes to make it into the first-team. All signs point to him doing it . Eden has shone at every youth level and was fantastic against Atletico a few weeks ago. Do the same against LASK and there’s no reason his rise should stop at Under 19 level.
