Italy fear Nicolo Tresoldi will pick Germany over Azzurri Club Brugge star Nicolo Tresoldi grabbed a huge hattrick for the Belgian side against Serie A giants Inter in the Champions League. And as it would naturally be, attention around the attacker has grown once again. The 22-year-old has found himself in the middle of a real clamour, as both Italy and Germany have been vying for his signature. Tuttomercatoweb believe the Azzurri camp is growing pessimistic about having him part of the setup in the future. There are increasing fears he will pick Germany. If he wouldn’t have wanted to, Tresoldi wouldn’t have rejected the recent call-up to Roberto Mancini’s side. The attacker, at his end, has made it clear that he has spoken to both Mancini and Jurgen Klopp but is focused fully on playing for Germany U21s. This is seen as a sign by Italy that he will indeed head in the other direction, even if Tresoldi is presenting a stance that he is yet to make the final decision.
