Alderete, Fofana And Methalie To Start | 4-2-3-1 Sunderland Predicted Lineup Vs Torreense Sunderland will lock horns with Torreense at the Estadio Manuel Marques on Thursday night as they hope to secure a positive result on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Black Cats suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion recently, so they would be eager to bounce back by earning a victory in midweek. Regis Le Bris will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this game. Omar Alderete, Malick Fofana and Dayann Methalie could all play from the start of this contest. 4-2-3-1 Sunderland Predicted Lineup To Face Torreense Defence Robin Roefs will operate in between the sticks for the Black Cats after conceding two goals in his last outing. Kevin Danso will function alongside Omar Alderete at the centre of the Sunderland backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field. Nordi Mukiele will try to impress as the right-back, while Dayann Methalie gets a chance to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack. Trai Hume will offer cover for the right-back position on the bench. The talented trio of Nilson Angulo, Enzo Le Fee and Malick Fofana will play just ahead of them as part of Le Bris’ attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Black Cats are to come out on top this weekend. Chemsdine Talbi and Chris Rigg will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed. Attack Wilson Isidor will spearhead Sunderland’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace on the offensive end of the field. Jocelin Ta Bi will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
