Roma sweat over Paulo Dybala and Manu Kone fitness after Real Madrid loss
Roma sweat over Paulo Dybala and Manu Kone fitness after Real Madrid loss Serie A side Roma endured a rather shocking 4-3 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday. The game did have a fair share of positives and the Giallorossi could’ve easily scored more goals but the negatives came in the form of Manu Kone and Paulo Dybala. The Frenchman impressed in the first 15 minutes but was then taken off due to what looked like a muscle injury. At half-time, Dybala was taken off and Rodrigo Mora came on to make an impact – just like Niccolo Pisilli had when he came off the bench for Kone. Corriere dello Sport now report that Roma are increasingly concerned about the two players. This is especially true in Kone’s case, as the midfielder broke down and looked gutted when he had to come off. Both players will undergo a medical test tomorrow to understand the extent of their issues. Roma depleted ahead of Genoa clash Donyell Malen is suspended for the Genoa tie after his red card against Como. Mile Svilar is also out due to an injury and Bryan Cristante is also out for the next few weeks. Kone and Dybala could miss the game too, which will come as a big blow for Gasperini’s side.
