OneFootball x Bemz: I hope keeping O'Neill for another season pays off

OneFootball x Bemz: I hope keeping O'Neill for another season pays off As part of OneFootball's collaboration series with Shoot Music we're interviewing an artist about their love of football. This week it's rapper, producer and Celtic fan, Bemz. When did you start supporting Celtic and why? I started loosely supporting Celtic when I was like 14 or15! I'd just moved to Scotland and moved to a place called Stranraer. As soon as we got there it was a case of choosing your colours. I went with Celtic because I’m Nigerian and the flag is green white green. The rest is history as they say. What is your favourite memory of your time supporting Celtic? Too many to pick from, but I would say just because of how recent it is - watching Celtic beat Hearts in the last game of the season to win the league. Everything about it was just perfect. What are your predictions for Celtic for this season? I think we will win the league and hopefully the double. All I pray for too is just to have a good run in Europe, to be honest. Do you think Martin O'Neill is the right man for the job going forward? Hard one to say. After what he did last season, I'd say yes, but also I think it would have been the perfect fairytale ending for him to have retired off the back of that again. Time will tell and I hope him staying for another year pays off. How do Celtic finally get over the hump and qualify for the Champions League League Phase? Sign me as number 9! Nah, in all honesty, only God knows the answer to that one. I guess the base answer would be to do our business in the transfer window early and get players in ready for Champions League football, rather than do our business after depending on if we make it through or not.
