The 20-year-old, who is on loan at Home Park from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, blasted a long-range effort into the top corner against Barnsley on 12 September to win the award. The strike in the first minute of the game was his first in league football for the Pilgrims. "It's probably the best goal I've scored in my professional career so far but most importantly it set us on the way to three important points," Irow said. "We've been in a really good moment as a team, and I feel really happy with my contributions individually as well. This is just the start though and I hope I can contribute more goals and assists as we look to continue our good start to the season." Irow beat his team-mate Harvey White, Luton Town's Callum Marshall and Milton Keynes Dons' Aaron Collins to win the award. All the latest Plymouth Argyle news
