😱 Refs, not again! Liberali stunner but was Gonçalves fouled? 📸 An entertaining first half between Fiorentina and Como : Como lead 2-1 after plenty of shots, chances and saves, plus Mattia Liberali's first goal in Serie A. Great news for Italian football, but it is marred by yet another refereeing controversy. The closing stages of the half also bring a superb headed goal from Nico Paz and a goal from Pongracic to pull one back (his first in Serie A too). In stoppage time, Pongracic scores again, but it is ruled out by semi-automated offside technology. ⭐ Liberali scores a stunner! But was there a foul on Gonçalves? 🤯 Caqueret slips a pass between the lines to Liberali, who controls it and fires a left-footed shot just inside the post: a beautiful goal to put Como 1-0 up in the 32nd minute. Fiorentina immediately protest because there appears to have been a foul by Kempf on Pedro Gonçalves at the start of the move. Luca Marelli's view on DAZN is clear: " Kempf's foul is obvious . He never touches the ball, and his foot stays underneath Gonçalves' body. It looked like a very clear foul to me." 💥 Paz heads home and Pongracic pulls one back! Then a five-minute VAR check 😱 In the 36th minute , Nico Paz doubles the lead with another fine goal: Valle crosses from the left and he rises to send a header into the top corner . De Gea has no chance, and Nico Paz claims his second league goal of the season. Fiorentina respond in the 43rd minute, making it 2-1: Viery heads goalwards from a corner, Ramon clears off the line, but Pongracic taps in the rebound . It is the defender's first Serie A goal on his 104th league appearance. Deep into stoppage time, Mastantuono sends in a free kick from midway inside the opposition half, and Pongracic darts forward to score with a right-footed volley. The goal is ruled out by semi-automated offside technology after around five minutes, with so many players crowded into the box. This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence.
