Allegri has since been replaced by Ruben Amorim, and a reshuffle of the other positions means that Massimio Calvelli is now CEO, Hendrick Almstadt is the head of player trading and Bobby Gardiner is the director of football intelligence. Milan were ultimately unable to reach a final agreement with Krösche and Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer, despite reports claiming that the Rossoneri were willing to offer the exec €10m per season in wages. But according to reports over the last 24 hours, they are now closing in on an agreement for the German to come in as head of football. Though Krösche resigned from his position with Eintracht Frankfurt, he recently signed a contract extension with the German club until the summer of 2028, which remains valid, and means that Milan will have to pay a compensation fee if they are to appoint him to the role of head of football.
